Gaydon tells the story of Britain’s motor industry and offers access to its separate Collections Centre within standard admission. The Centre is a store: cars are closely parked, with limited interpretation. It rewards curiosity about preservation as well as finished display galleries.
Its wider industrial perspective beats Porsche’s single marque. Turin takes fourth for placing cars in a broader social narrative. Plan time for both Gaydon buildings, but check the Centre’s opening schedule rather than assuming it matches the main museum.
