A controller places ninth because it can be excellent for a known gamer but useless for the wrong platform or games. It beats a projector on space and setup demands, while a smart plug has uses beyond gaming. Ask which system and games the recipient actually plays.
PlayStation’s DualSense guide lists compatible computers and phones, but game support and special features vary. Bluetooth pairing alone does not guarantee every trigger or vibration feature. A second controller can be a thoughtful gift for local multiplayer; an incompatible duplicate is simply another object to store.
