Canberra’s Questacon makes science something to try: The Shed encourages tinkering, while Q Lab and Awesome Earth offer further routes into experimentation. The centre uses timed entry and recommends pre-booking to guarantee a visit, especially for weekends and school holidays.
Singapore edges it because we favour its combination of outdoor physics and Earth systems. Questacon could win for a family chiefly interested in making. Tenth reflects our priorities within this shortlist, not a lack of quality. Allow time to retry; old photos do not guarantee today’s displays.
