Paris’s Cité pairs exhibitions on subjects such as space, climate and robots with dedicated Cité des enfants spaces for ages two to six and five to ten. The children’s sessions last 90 minutes; adults and children each need tickets. A children’s ticket alone does not include the main exhibitions.
It beats NEMO for the combination of age-specific spaces and wider themed exhibitions. Munich ranks higher for cross-disciplinary objects; a family with younger children can reverse them. Choose the right age zone and ticket combination first. Leave time for water play or making things.
