Walt and Roy Disney started their studio in 1923; Disneyland opened in 1955. Walt’s distinctive business case joins screen storytelling to an experience people can enter. Roy, animators and park teams share the credit; Walt did not make every creation.
He beats Toyoda for extending a creative business into a different consumer experience. Bezos ranks higher for infrastructure that serves many other businesses. Disney can move above him if cultural staying power matters more than commerce; memorable characters are not the same as universal appeal.
