Introduced on 4 July 1957, the Nuova 500 made a tiny footprint feel like a complete car. Rounded panels, an upright cabin and a compact rear-engine layout create a friendly form without requiring decorative excess. Its place here comes from translating economical urban transport into a distinctive visual identity. The original and later reinterpretations should be distinguished: a familiar outline does not imply the same structure or mechanical design.
