Wii makes a strong case for playing together: Mario Kart Wii, Wii Party and New Super Mario Bros. Wii appear in Nintendo’s official catalogue. The latter supports four players. Motion control gives its living-room experience a different character from the more traditional controller play below it.
It beats Nintendo 64 because we prefer this range of shared play to the older system’s concentrated classics. DS wins for portable experimentation. Wii can rise for families who make group sessions the priority. The photo shows a standard Wii; this ranking does not treat Wii Mini as identical hardware.
