Puig i Cadafalch’s Casa Amatller adds another architect to a street often reduced to Gaudí. The house museum opens the principal floor through guided and audio-guided visits. Pair the stepped façade with the domestic rooms rather than treating it merely as Casa Batlló’s neighbour.

It earns tenth for that useful change of perspective. Santa Maria del Mar ranks higher for the stronger contrast in scale and style. Choose Amatller first if everyday life in a historic home interests you most; confirm your tour language and ticket format before booking.
