Gaudí’s first house offers a counterpoint to his later flowing forms. Casa Vicens’s visitor pages introduce its façade, garden, main floor and rooftop; the tile-rich exterior is a good starting point for noticing how decoration and architecture work together.

It outranks the Pavilion for the variety of details a first-time visitor can explore. Palau Güell comes sixth for its more dramatic sequence of interior spaces. Pick Vicens if you want to trace Gaudí’s beginnings, then check the current self-guided or guided options. The street view is not the whole visit.
