Sant Pau is a former hospital complex, not one isolated building. Domènech i Montaner’s pavilions combine decorative craft with gardens and connecting tunnels. The route covers hospital history, the Operations House and Sant Rafael pavilion.
Its range beats Palau Güell, while Casa Batlló ranks fourth for a more concentrated encounter with inventive domestic design. Study the gardens too: the site plan matters. The operator says the route can vary with room availability, so do not treat an old photo as an access guarantee.
